We work with a number of life insurance companies that provide structured settlements (only a small percentage of all life insurance companies offer structured settlements). Our belief is that plaintiffs should balance safety and yield, and give the strongest weight to safety. We like to use insurance companies that have over $10 billion in assets, very high ratings from A.M. Best and Standard & Poor's and excellent reputations. We believe that plaintiff attorneys and their clients should control the structured settlement process since they take all the risk.
